Tony Buzan's Story of Brilliance

Exams are on the way, and achieving success is definitely your responsibility. Here I will tell you the story of Tony Buzan who preponderated in his academic study. Now, there is a centre, bearing his name in England, for studying the ways of thinking. It calls people to use their minds and inner powers in order to grow and develop constantly.

In high school exams, Tony Buzan's answers were eye-catching for the teachers correcting them, because of their perfect discipline, systematic order and high accuracy. He supported his answers by mentioning names and dates of references with page numbers, and added the different comments said about the issue discussed in the question. This aroused his teachers' admiration and, at the same time, their curiosity about this phenomenon they see in Buzan's papers; was it from memory, or did Buzan copy these lines from a book?

Accordingly, he was summoned before a committee of professors to explain the matter. Tony answered that all he had done was from memory as he was using a way of studying, he invented, called Mind Maps. It depends on concentration as it simply links information about one topic in a logical chain of words, symbols and linear shapes, so it makes you feel as if you are looking at a map. If you take the topic of "traveling to the moon" as an example, you will have lots of information that have to be arranged and linked together like a map.

Hence, concentration is the magical key that opens all the doors of this method. The first rule in achieving success is concentration, so all energies should be directed to one point, like sun rays; when they gather, they shine brightly. From here we can say that focusing body and mental powers when solving problems will duplicate one's abilities. Nothing can add more power to your life like focusing all your energies on a limited range of goals in order to help you studying and achieving your projects. To access a better ability to concentrate more, here are some tips:

1-Choose the right time and place for studying, and start meditating in order to calm yourself down and clear your mind from all problems.
2-There are four ways of acquiring information: sight, listening, reciting and writing. Preferring one to the other differs from one person to the other, but generally, the more senses used in learning, the more you are benefited and the more information is focused.
3-Try to make a schedule for studying and learning, and do not postpone them as this will load you with what you can not take.
4-Save time for rest. You have to allocate some time for your rest between subjects that do not exceed 10 minutes.

Finally, concentration pushes you to achieve success for yourself, your family and your society, as they need your success for a future which is thirsty for preponderant and distinct people to lead the way. And you, my dear friend, are one of these who form the association of success aiming at the improvement of this beloved country.
