God has created man distinguished from other creatures with his reason, which is a shackle protecting him from ignorance. It was called reason because it brings man to his reason protecting him from getting involved into troubles. Abbas Mahmoud El Akkad said in his book "Thinking" about the characteristics of the reason is that it contemplates about whatever it perceives, considers it from all dimensions and extracts from it all its interiors and secrets, than reaches conclusions and judgments. All these characteristics are united in the faculty of judging and are related to the faculty of wisdom. They are also connected to the judicious reason when wisdom leads man to what should be followed and to what should be abandoned ... as the most sublime characteristic of the human reason is reasonability...". Moreover, we live in an age of knowledge whose light is reasonability, and those who have enlightened minds establish civilizations upon their innovative thinking.
On the grounds of reality, the society suffers many problems and difficulties that we fear to face, either for our inability to solve them, or for our fear to approach them. The enlightened group is formed of all members of the society who work with a scientific method, honest will and a hopeful spirit capable of intellectually and scientifically lightening continuously to push the society to the front all the way. Such innovative scientific method is opposite to the vertical one which goes in one way, as the first tries to find out the problem, determine the steps that should be followed and then proceed towards the solution. It is the regular thinking that starts first with: determining the problem or the topic through collecting data, then analyzing and studying such data till reaching the solution. However, sometimes the reasonable thinking does not reach the desired goal, then it can not solve problems or face them. As when a problem is faced with this kind of thinking, it fails to manage it. Hence, we should take another path, namely the partial or the renewed or the innovative thinking. Some of the pioneers of this kind of thinking is Edward De Bono. The renewed thinking refers to new ways of perceiving things. It works in flexibility and moves in many directions trying to find solutions to the problem from a wide perspective. Once there was a group of scientists searching for oil in the desert, they were using a giant one- armed drill to dig deep in the ground. Days passed by while they were working on different levels at the same place but without use as they reached nothing. They all gathered and sat to discuss what to do and the result was that there were oil in this area, but the question remained: how to reach it? Then an idea struck one of them summarized as follows: 1- That we are searching in one place (one center) without reaching anything yet. 2- That we should search in the same place but with many centers. 3- That we should search on different depths. Immediately, they brought another multi- armed drill to search in different places and on different depths, as they adopted this new innovative idea. Few days later they managed to find a lot of things and reach their goal. The idea is in itself a kind of power. The renewed innovating thinking is a creational one because it searches for what is new and untraditional, not as kind of renewing for the sake of renewing, or renewing for the sake of differing from the other, but renewing for the sake of discovering new courses and methods that can help us to develop the performance level. Hence we can create a system of work and become more civilized in dealing with ourselves, with the other and with the environment around us.
